"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia is closely following the development of the situation in south-eastern of Ukraine.

The sharp escalation of the situation in Donbas provoked by Ukraine clearly demonstrates the aggressive intentions of the authorities in Kiev, who are unwilling to implement the Minsk agreements and the agreements reached in the Normandy format.

We express the hope that the crisis in Donbas, as a result of which civilians are suffering, will be resolved by political and diplomatic means.

The Republic of Abkhazia will not remain indifferent to the problems of the civilian population in Donbas and is ready to provide humanitarian assistance through the relevant agencies."
